Primary eye care is a comprehensive eye examination that includes a prescription for glasses and/or contact lenses and a complete eye health check.

During this examination, our certified para-optometric staff members will begin by performing a few, very important pre-tests including an estimation of your glasses prescription, measuring the curvature of your cornea, a measurement of your intraocular pressure, and a screening of peripheral vision defects.

Your optometric physician will provide a prescription for glasses and/or contact lenses, and assess other aspects of your vision such as eye focusing and eye teaming. Our optometric physicians will assess your eye health, and can diagnose, treat, and manage many different eye diseases including red eyes, dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
